You will never find a more silly or ridiculous metaphor than the one in the middle of this quote. First, it is not at all sensible to liken condoms to nuclear waste. Condoms are to prevent the spread of disease and unwanted pregnancy and they save lives and in no way can they be compared to nuclear waste in terms of their dangers. Secondly, it is so ridiculous that even if we did compare them, we could only say that there was nothing sensible we could do with condoms.

We can’t burn them, throw them away in landfills, or return them to the manufacturers for recycling. We can’t eat them, drink them, use them as a bandage or use them as an ingredient in anything else.
